SARA MILLER’s spirit animal is a moonlight riding owl who, in her human form, is an Irish born DJ, music producer and sound engineer based in Berlin, Germany.

Her artistry both behind the decks and in the studio is gleefully inspired by Berlin’s distinct hedonism, indulging the city’s timeless dance floor energy to enact glorious ecstasy upon ravers.

Astral melodies, rubbery basslines and soaring breaks embrace under SARA’s inherent exuberance, an experiential wonder that has seen her remain a constant presence in such Berlin clubbing institutions as :://About Blank, ELSE and Watergate.

“LUNAR THEORY”, released this year on Permanent Vacation, marked SARA MILLER’s highly anticipated first solo EP following her debut production “Orange Sea” released on the “Permanent Vacation 7” compilation in 2021.

Tapping into Sara’s vast musical knowledge in 4 dynamic house variations, “LUNAR THEORY” highlights her vibrant world within the celestial dance.

On LUNAR THEORY EP’s 4 tracks, SARA has drawn inspiration from her broad musical knowledge and years of DJing experience and party wizardry.  You can detect influences from 90’s classic house, breakbeat, Italo and acid in her tracks, all combined into a fresh and sparkling result. 

Each track bounces along with purposeful energy while embracing lush harmonics, plush pads and bubbling acid tones along its way. A wonderful record that’s bound to soundtrack the glorious summer dancing season ahead.

But music is not the only source of inspiration for this notorious night owl; nighttime and its celestial companion, the moon, are equally important to SARA’s work.

So “LUNAR THEORY” is a sonic journey that attempts to reflect the four primary phases of the moon and the moonlight by which each track was inspired.
